ORTEC named one of Houston’s 2021 best and brightest companies to work for

The ORTEC journey started in the early 1980s. A few young Dutch students wanted to show the world the value of mathematics to secure long term sustainable growth for organizations and society at large. 40 years later, ORTEC is the world’s leading supplier of mathematical optimization software and advanced analytics with around 1,000 employees and offices in 13 countries around the globe. Over the years, we have optimized business processes at more than 1,200 leading companies, enabling us to make a significant contribution to a better world.

Now, the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has named ORTEC as one of the Best and Brightest Companies To Work For® in Houston.

This marks the first time that ORTEC has been recognized by the association as one of the best companies to work for in Houston.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in operations and employee enrichment that led to increased productivity and financial performance. An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various workplace categories such as compensation, benefits and employee solutions as well as engagement and retention, employee education and development, and work-life balance.

Entries for Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies included survey responses from employees. For ORTEC, employees based out of the Houston office participated in the survey.

“ORTEC is proud to be recognized as striving for excellence in the workplace,” said Jeff Bailey, CEO, ORTEC Americas. “Being honored as a Best and Brightest company shows that even through COVID-19 we continue to support and grow our team members in their careers.”

With over 20 years of experience conducting the Best and Brightest competitions, the NABR has identified numerous best Human Resource practices and provided benchmarking for companies that continue to be leaders in employment standards. Only companies that distinguish themselves as having the most innovative and thoughtful human resources approach receive this honor.

“A main goal at ORTEC is to help supply chain businesses succeed through streamlining operations, which we can’t do without the hard work of our incredible and dedicated employees. They are the key to our success,” Jeff Bailey said.
