According to a new study, Texas is ranked as the best state to start a business.
There are many factors to start a business in the US, but one of the most decisive success factor is choosing the right location. In this line, Texas is ranked No.1 with the best business environment.
WalletHub, the company that led the study, compared the 50 states across 26 key indicators of startup success to determine the most fertile grounds in which to launch and grow an enterprise.
Texas topped the list with a total score of 61.05, ahead of Utah, Georgia, North and Oklahoma. The Lone Star State also ranked No. 11 for access to resources, No. 30 for business costs, No. 4 for highest average growth in number of small businesses, No. 4 for longest average work week and No. 5 for highest total spending on incentives as8 percentage of GDP.
