From November 4 to 8, delegations from Texas, Florida and Louisiana, visited the Netherlands to learn about Dutch water management, share experiences, and exchange ideas on resiliency.

During this trip, the delegation visited the Rotterdam innovation campus, saw innovative pavement tiles with a water-buffering system to prevent flooding, and took in the breathtaking view of the Dutch nature-based solution, "Room for the River," that enables flood protection. At the same time, the representatives participated in the Amsterdam International Water Week Conference.

The Texas delegation was represented by Marissa Aho, Chief Resilience Officer from City of Houston, who leads the city’s partnership with 100 Resilient Cities.
