In a race to create the best, smartest, and most unique products, companies invest billions of dollars into research and development (R&D) each year, and these are just a few of the resulting products—products that many of us use and enjoy every day.
In this line, Texas ranks as the fifth most innovative state, according to a recent study from Business.org.
The study looked at how much companies in each state spent on R&D, and then adjusted its findings per 100,000 people to see which states were the most innovative.
Texas invests $173,530 per 100,000 people, according to the study, being one of the more important states for innovation.
